Best Family Stay in North Goa at Holiday Inn Goa Candolim

I recently visited Goa for a holiday with my family. From 1st September 2021 onwards, Goa no longer requires an RTPCR test from adults who have completed 2 weeks after being vaccinated with both doses of the covid19 vaccine. For children younger than 18 years or adults who are not vaccinated two times, and RTPCR test not older than 72 hours is required though. I was looking for an affordable stay option near the happening North Goa, then I heard about the newly opened Holiday Inn in Candolim, near Sinquerim beach. Holiday Inn Goa Candolim is the newest property of IHG hotels in Goa. It offers finest 5 star accommodation in the bustling North Goa very near to Sinquerim beach. It has 106 stylish rooms, all with an attached balcony, either overlooking the swimming pool or the green landscapes of Sinquerim. Our room was really spacious and decorated in a contemporary manner. Along with the bed, we also had a small couch where we could sit and enjoy watching the TV. The room was decorated in bright colours which We loved the view from our room which showed the swimming pool and also wonderful coconut trees. Executive Chef Dipak made welcome amenities for us – a wonderful tribute to a travel writer like me with a feather as a pen, almond chocolates as books and the circle as the globe. The bathrooms are well equipped with a large mirror, hairdryer, weighing machine and also a telephone. The decor is very trendy and upscale. The shower area is separate from the WC area which ensures that you have a comfortable experience in the bathroom. There is a comfortable work desk with a lamp and a huge mirror which is very good for working during your work-action as the WiFi is free and really fast too! There is also a 32 inch TV with all the premium channels. This is the new wing of the Holiday Inn Goa Candolim which is under construction right now. It will have amazing views of the greenery of Sinquerim and the river nearby. Holiday Inn Goa Candolim is just 400m away from the less populated and beautiful Sinquerim beach. You can just walk there within 5 minutes and enjoy a fun day with your family, without the crowds at the Calangute beach. The best part about Holiday Inn Goa Candolim is that kids stay and eat free! Kids 12 and under can not only stay sharing their parents’ room but also eat free any time of the day in any Holiday Inn on-site restaurant! The hospitality by the team is really world-class. Manju from the restaurant team took really good care of us and became very good pals with our son Reyansh. She would ensure that any particular request by us was very well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Holiday Inn Goa Candolim and the variety of food we tried here was a lot, so I have dedicated another blog post for the same.
