I love seeing Golf and always wanted to learn it, but no access to golf course and expensive memberships to golf clubs prevented me from learning it. So when I heard that you can play golf without being a member at Prestige Augusta Golf Village which is off Hennur road in North Bangalore. One weekend visited it along with family for some golf lessons and leisurely brunch.
There’s something for everyone at Prestige Augusta Club. There is not just golf, but a lot of indoor activities like bowling, squash, table tennis, foosball, gym, snooker, billiards and out door activities like swimming, tennis, etc. If you are tired from all these activities, you can have amazing food at the world class restaurant too.
Prestige Augusta Golf village has around 460 villas spread over 104 acres. There is a 9 hole golf course in the middle of the property with amazing greenery and ponds with fountains. Most of the villas are 3 BHK with around 2400 sqft whereas there are few 4 BHK too with 4300 sqft.
The club house has a very well equipped gymnasium along with a spectacular view of the golf course. It is very spacious and very well maintained with regular cleaning.
There is also a mini cinema hall in the club house for screening movies or documentaries for a small group or family members. This can be hired on an hourly basis.
I had a great time learning golf in the 9 course golf course there. The coach was very patient and helped me learn the basics of golf and allowed me to take as many shots at it as possible.
Even our son Reyansh enjoyed learning golf as they had golf clubs for children too and they were patient while teaching him the basics of Golf.
I was really surprised to see that there was a bowling setup inside the club house too. There is a 2 lane bowling course and it can be hired for small get togethers or office parties.
There are also indoor games like Squash which can be hired on an hourly basis. What I really liked was that all facilities were maintained very well in the club.
The food at the restaurant in Prestige Augusta Golf Village was really amazing. We were really thrilled to see some exquisite cuisine there specially on Easter Day brunch.
