Best of Amritsari cuisine at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar

On our recent visit to Amritsar, we stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar which has 1 restaurant called Kava Grill & Lounge which is their all day dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is helmed by executive chef Maninder Singh Sabharwal and F&B manager Lovejit Kahlon.

It is a very airy and bright light restaurant with both indoor and covered outdoor seating. It is a perfect place to have a relaxed meal with your family as we enjoyed Punjabi delicacies for breakfast and dinner on all the 3 days we stayed there.

We tried the legendary Amritsari Kulche with Chole which is the pride of executive chef Maninder Singh Sabharwal who ensured that we tried different varieties of the Kulche. The food was on par with legendary Amritsari restaurants like Kulcha Land.

Our son Reyansh enjoyed the North Indian breakfast staple Poori with Aloo Sabji too. Chef very graciously made waffles for him too and served it with chocolate and maple syrup.

For lunch you can try oriental varieties like egg fried rice along with Chilly Chicken semi-gravy starter. You are not just restricted to Indian cuisine here, even the continental and oriental cuisines are great!

We were floored by the wonder hospitality shown at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar by the GM Anukam Tiwary and Executive Chef Maninder Singh Sabharwal who take care of us like family and customized the food according to our taste buds and created some wonderful memories for us.

One of the highlights of our stay was the Republic Day dinner on 26th January which was tricolored theme, specially created by executive chef Maninder Singh Sabharwal and his team of able chefs.

We enjoyed some quinoa in the shape of a heart with the Indian tricolor as a theme. There were also some delectable desserts like cupcakes, fruit truffles among other things.

Just looking at the pastries and cake itself we were floored by the culinary genius of the chefs team at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar.

For breakfast the next day, there were a variety of home made doughnuts which our son Reyansh relished a lot.

Loved the way F&B Manager Lovejit Kahlon and executive chef Maninder Singh created a wonderful farewell cake message for us.

There is also the Kava Bar where you could enjoy a light bite as you sip cocktails, beer, wine or mocktails in this inviting hotel lounge.

At Kava Grill and Lounge by Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar, we chose from a tempting menu of Punjab specialties, international dishes and decadent desserts while enjoying the soundtrack of relaxing music.
