As soon as we entered Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar, we were welcomed by refreshing guava based mocktails. We were escorted to our Fairfield King Suite which had a spacious living area with beautiful interiors. The living area had a sofa set, working table and also a television.
The Fairfield King suite at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar comes with the added privacy of a separate bedroom with it’s own television, wardrobe and lockable door. The decor is very lively and the photo frames depicted the life of farmers in Punjab. Both foam and feather pillows are there and the bed is very comfortable.
It was time to refresh and renew ourselves in the spacious suite bathroom which offered a walk-in shower and a marble vanity. The hygiene and cleanliness was impeccable throughout our 3 night 4 day stay here.
The Fairfield Suite is really spacious as it has a space of around 506 sqft with a separate living room and a separate bed room with a king bed. It can easily accommodate a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. There is also a small washroom for the living room too.
To welcome us to the holy city of Amritsar, the chefs created some wonderful amenities like laddoos, chikkis, puffs and of course there was a wonderful fruit basket.
With regards to recreation at the hotel, there is an outdoor swimming pool on the 2nd floor with a good view of the city. It would be nice place to relax with few refreshing drinks too as water does get cold in winter months.
There is also a fully equipped gym with a wonderful garden view so that while you are working out you can also enjoy some views of the wonderful holy city of Amritsar.
I loved the way the Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar hotel staff celebrated our anniversary by decorating our bed while we were dining. It was very heart touching. As we were feeling quite cold in our room, the general manager Anukam Tiwary ensured that he arranged a heater for us immediately.
The chefs lead by executive chef Maninder Singh Sabharwal sent us a wonderful cake for our 8th wedding anniversary on the stroke of midnight which we loved a lot.
Overall we had an amazing stay at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar which is within easy reach to the airport (10km), Golden Temple (2.7km) and also Wagah border (33km). The hospitality and personal care was top class! We felt like we were staying in our own home in Amritsar.
