Embrace Royalty at ITC Grand Bharat Gurgaon

ITC Grand Bharat is part of the ultra-luxury hotel chain, ITC Hotels which has the exclusive Luxury Collection brand of Starwood Hotels and Resorts in India. This hotel is a place escaped from a dream, forged by the fine threads that come from the sandalwood incense and by the magic of the thousand deities that reign in India. I was lucky to have stayed there recently for an amazing weekend.

Just 50 kilometers from Delhi, we find one of those hotels that help define the concept of ‘Asian luxury’. The beauty of the garden evokes one of the tales of a thousand and one nights and is surrounded by a virgin field, vibrant tones and flowers that join with the blue of the sky. It is like a rural paradise which combines the most exquisite luxury and modernity.

Gorgeous details give life to the interior, where you can appreciate the classic architectural style surrounded by antiques, beautiful furniture, full upholstery and paintings that honor their culture of love for life. Under domes and between carved walls, a hundred suites dazzle with their spaciousness, high ceilings and bathrooms overlooking the estate.

Either of ITC Grand Bharat’s suites leads to the huge garden and pool and are composed of living room, bedroom and bathroom, spaces that are connected through sliding doors but at the same time maintain the privacy of every corner of the room. The rooms are exceptionally large with a sitting area, bedroom, gigantic toilet and a lovely sit out.

We stayed in a villa with a semi-private attached pool with a private backyard. Tempur-Pedic bed comes with Egyptian cotton sheets, and all rooms are furnished with single sofa beds.

Wired and wireless Internet access is complimentary, while 42-inch LED televisions with satellite programming provide entertainment. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services.

And like all ITC Hotels, ITC Grand Bharat offers an exceptional dining experience with a variety of restaurants. The most exquisite palates can choose between ‘Aravalli Pavilion’, ‘Verandah’ to enjoy outdoor dishes, ‘The Indian Room’ where the menu features a wide range of dishes from the colonizing countries of India, Greek, Dutch, French and English cuisine with an Indian flavor.

Being part of ITC group implies that the whole project is eco-sustainable. The firm is a luxury hotel chain in India, so you have the utmost care in preserving our country. This translates into a controlled environmental footprint, which covered the construction, but also the maintenance and the day to day of the hotel itself. Its energy efficiency is attested by the most important quality seals.
