4Seasons multi cuisine restaurant
Launched in the year 1998, became very popular and desired destination for many to enjoy multi cuisine delicacies. Thanks to their customers who are their brand ambassadors rewarding them with growing popularity. Not only their customers grew in Hyderabad but it was surprise and pleasure to see the increase in customers from neighboring states like Karnataka. Lot of business travelers going out of city plan to get back to their destination with their takeaways, the only reason, customers enjoy the food they serve and want to carry the same to their families and friends. This is moment of pride for all at 4Seasons to see their reach widening. Bangalore outlet was started in July 2011 and Whitefield outlet started with the starting of Inorbit Mall.
Some of the best non-vegetarian starters there were Lassoni Kebab, Goan Fish Kebab and Arabic Saute Prawns . In mutton dishes, Mutton Rogan Josh was the best. There is also Mediterranean food like Hummus, Fattoush and Tabbouleh. In desserts I liked Mango Souffle and Umm Ali which is Arabic dessert with dry fruits.
Café Infinito
Surrounded by the IT sector of Bengaluru, Café Infinito gave us everything we needed to have a great day. The cuisine was primarily café-ish with an influence from Italy but not limited to it. Situated in Level 1 of Inorbit Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore, it was a fantastic place to enjoy various cuisines. One could hop in anytime of the day for a quick bite of Crostini or attend out of office meetings devouring varieties of small eats and salads; indulge in home preparations of pastas, wood-fired pizza, healthy sandwiches, burgers and wraps.
Timings: Dine-in – 12 noon to 3:30 pm & 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm
The menu is modern eclectic from their Chef who swears not just by Italian food but dishes that make a lasting impression. He has discovered these dishes in the journey of his life and all of the staff from Cafe Infinito added in their picks from over the years. Some of mum’s favorite recipes to the Sunday roasts, the food at the neighbors’ and so on. My favorite dessert was the Baked Alaska in Pistachio Sauce which tasted fabulous!
Tiffin Box Etc
One of the most talked about new restaurants in Bangalore now, Tiffin Box Etc. has on offer the novelty Tiffinbox meals which can be had at their restaurant in the evenings by oneself or shared between two with love and nostalgia. Some of their vegetarian signature dishes are achari mushroom, upma, diwani handi, sindhi kadhi, chhole lahori and mirch ka salan and some of their signature meaty dishes are nalli nihari, Goan prawn curry, kosha mongsho, mustard fish tikka, prawns koliwada and the Birmingham balti. Their signature desserts include chilli ice-
cream, paan ice-cream and sugar free gajar ka halwa.
I loved the entire decor of the place specially using Tiffin boxes as lights and the cool cartoons which are there on the walls. The place is always packed as there is a variety of cuisine on offer right from breakfast items to lunch items to dinner items. There are Snacks like idli, pav bhaji, aloo paratha and chaats to savour every palate; variety of dishes from the tandoor and not to forget regional curries and biryanis and desserts for all the sweet cravers.
For those who miss their mothers’ cooking, Tiffin Box Etc.’s Chefs aim to satisfy their tastes by taking due care that the food is home-style which they can have every day. Hence, they have dishes from almost all regions – Gujarati, Rajasthani, Marwari, Sindhi, Maharastrian, Punjabi, Awadhi, Hyderbadi, Bengali, South Indian (Chettinad cuisine, Malabar) and Birmingham homes and kitchens.
