Black Dog Scotch Whisky was born over 130 years ago in Scotland and since then it has been a proud symbol of Scotland. It has also recognized and applauded other Scottish inventions and shared the pride in being one of the Scots with them. One of the inventions they applauded was the invention of the steam engine in 1883 – the same year as when the world famous Scotch Whisky was born! Mackinlay’s presentation of Scotch Whisky labels based on the names of different Salmon fishing flies was to change Sir Walter Millard’s life – and the world of the finest Scotch: Millard discovered Black Dog! Even over a hundred years later, Black Dog whisky has remained faithful to the original blend. With its famous mellow smoothness, the quality and consistency of the blend of Black Dog has been preserved through generations!
